Darren MacEachern
Darren MacEachern is a life long time fisher, having first picked up a rod at the age of 4. He has fished from coast to coast across Canada and has been tying flies for the last several years. He started his fishing career chasing brook trout with a sapling as a fishing pole and a worm in the tiny creeks of Prince Edward Island.

Darren spent over 20 years beside the world famous Bow River in Calgary Alberta before heading north to the pothole lakes surrounding Edmonton. He now resides in the Greater Toronto Area and remains a dedicated fly fisher and fly tyer. He is a forum moderator for FlyFishCalgary and Flyangler Canada and writes a fly tying column called Hooks and Half Hitches for Fly Fusion Magazine.

You can find Darren frequently fishing small creeks and lakes for trout, bass, pike, salmon and anything that happens along, or at his vise creating a tempting new fly pattern to test out on his next trip on the water.
